Well the trip home went safe and sound. To our surprise the foal was down sleeping in the trailer. Paela was content in her stall and settled right in. She is now comfortable with us handling the baby but does not like strangers looking.
The foal is a sweet heart and loves attention. He has many magic spots and loves to 
be scratched. He enjoys being outside and must be pushed back in the stall for quiet time. The foal is an independent guy and Paela chased him all over nickering and keeping an eye on him.

The new foal is absolute adorable. Glad to hear all are doing well. So glad it has short ears rather than long ones.
